Despite the fact that major Canadian telecoms benefit from publicly-funded subsidies and grants from federal and provincial governments, they keep sending good jobs out of the country where workers face poor working conditions.

Generations of telecom workers in Canada built the infrastructure that connects our communities. Any public investment should support the next generation of telecom jobs, not fund outsourcing and offshoring.
