With Doug Ford as Ontario’s next premier, leading a conservative majority government, decent work and workers’ rights must be defended. An overwhelming majority of Ontarians support a $15 an hour minimum wage, but this government ran on a platform attacking it. Now is the time to mobilize our defense for workers.

All locals and members of Unifor are strongly encouraged to join us in Toronto at this rally, and to bring large contingents wherever possible. This is our first chance to show the newly-elected government that workers remain united in Ontario, and that any attack on workers’ rights will not be tolerated.

To enrol, fill out the proper form, and send it to Employee Services (address available in the forms). These forms are also available in the Group Insurance page on i-net. Enrolment and modification request – Regular Full-time employee Enrolment and modification request – Regular Part-time employee with more than one year Enrolment and modification request – Regular Part-time employee with less than one year Enrolment and modification request – Manager/Professional The processing of the form could take up to 2 weeks.
