Keep Our Power

Hydro Public

Dear Sisters and Brothers,
I am writing to ask for your help to stop the privatization of Hydro in Ontario. As families across the province struggle to pay skyrocketing bills the Liberal government has announced rebates, a temporary, band aid solution meant to distract attention as the further sale of our public asset Hydro One continues.
It’s not too late to stop privatization! The majority of hydro is still owned by Ontarians and we can still act to halt the sell-off.
This Saturday April 8, I am inviting all members, retirees, family and friends, to please join the Keep Our Power – March and Rally.
WHAT:               Keep Our Power – March and Rally
WHEN:              1:00 p.m. Saturday, April 8
WHERE:           483 Bay St. Toronto – Hydro One Headquarters
*Meet at Hydro One Headquarters followed by a march to Queen’s Park rally.
Bring your Unifor flag!
Please join in this important urgent action.
With your help, Unifor can send a united message about public services. Every voice matters and is needed to tell the Ontario government that we will not allow it to hand over the remaining shares. Once the shares are gone, control over this necessary utility will be lost forever.
Unifor is a proud member of the Keep Hydro Public campaign which is supported by more than 20 community, labour, environment, anti-poverty and student organizations.
